A vacancy exists for a Stores Assistant within the Micro Merchant Division, in Durban.
The purpose of this role is to assist the Storeman with day-to-day duties and perform tasks related to Stock Management assigned by the Store Manager or Storeman.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receipt and dispatch of equipment.
- Packing of items that must be dispatched.
- Assist with monthly stocktakes.
- Ensuring that the overall stores area is neat and organized.
- Receipt of returned equipment from Agents and Reps.
- Random testing and evaluation of repaired devices.
- Feedback to Storeman and Stores Manager regarding Quality Control findings.
In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:
- Matric/Grade 12.
- Tertiary qualification advantageous but not required.
Technical Competencies:
- Computer literacy – MS Office Suite.
